VINYL - EXCELLENT+ Both sides of the vinyl look like they have barely been played with only a couple of he very lightest marks showing under a bright light. I know some sellers would call this NEAR MINT, but I’ll stick with EXCELLENT+, as it’s a good strong example of that grade.

LABELS – both labels are as near to absolutely perfect as you will see (see photos) there are a few very light spindle marks, indicating that it has had a few (very careful) plays, but with no writing or stickers whatever. Please note that the yellow on the labels is as bright as it was on the day they were made - it is the flash from my camera which makes them look slightly washed out!

INNER – the plain white “Patents Applied For”, “Made in Great Britain” inner sleeve is present and intact, with only the very slightest yellowing near the edges.

SLEEVE – the outer sleeve is a triple flipback Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd., Patents Pending sleeve, again in EXCELLENT+ condition, with a perfectly clear, readable, unbroken spine.

This is an absolutely fantastic example of the mega-rare first mono press of the Beatles’ classic “Revolver” album, with matrix numbers 605-2 (Side 1) and 606-1 (Side 2), meaning that it is one of the very first pressings, containing the otherwise unavailable, and immediately withdrawn re-mix 11 of the final track “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

The “KT” tax code is clearly visible across the centre hole of the side 1 label.

The stampers read 1 RG (Side 1) and 3 OA (Side 2)

Both the sleeve and the Side 2 label list track 4 as “Dr. Robert”

Please don’t miss this outstanding example. It is rare enough to find a 606-1 copy of this, but far, far rarer to find one in this sort of condition. It practically never happens.

There has not been a better example on eBay for a long time; it is clearly superior to many with far higher starting prices; and there are very few better examples on popsike, meaning that this is probably one of the best half-dozen or so of these to have surfaced in the last SEVEN YEARS!!

The item will be packed between two stiffeners in a proper record mailer. The vinyl will be contained in a polythene Nagaoka anti-static record sleeve, which will itself be placed in a pvc sleeve along with the outer sleeve and the original inner.

I will keep the p&p cost down to £4.00 to UK addresses, but due to the value of this item, I will send it Special Delivery Next Day – signed for, which will cost a little more, but I will pay the extra – UK bidders will pay only £4.00 shipping!

Postage to European countries will be by Airsure Packets – tracked and signed for, and will cost £12.00.

Postage to all other countries will be by equivalent Airmail services, tracked and signed for, and will cost £16.00

All of the above postage options include insurance for up to £500.00. If cover is required for more than that, shipping costs may be revised accordingly.
