This is either a 1st or 2nd Pressing in Mono.

Small MONO top right of sleeve.

"DR. ROBERT" misprint instead of "DOCTOR ROBERT" on sleeve & label.

Condition:

Sleeve: VERY GOOD - Front Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse "flipback" sleeve. Considering it's 45 years age, it grades quite highly.

General discolouration to front, and showing some light grubby handling marks to rear. All seams are intact. There is a small 1.5cm split to the top edge, but the others are all sound. The spine shows some light scuffing to the laminate in some places and a few edge creases, but is generally very good and with bold title print. The front shows a small area of laminate creasing around "John's" nose. No unwanted stickers or writing.

Inner sleeve is the original plain white with "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" and "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" marks, and has a split on one side. In good clean condition.

Record: EXCELLENT - The vinyl is in great condition. A lovely deep bright sheen and spotless labels with minimal spindle wear. Both sides display one or two very light hairlines, and some light sleeve scuffs, but these are all very minor and have no adverse effect on playback.

Checked for sound and quality - and it plays superbly well throughout - no skips or jumps GUARANTEED.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
