Info regarding this 606-1 withdrawn mix: John Lennon begins with "Turn off..." in a relatively dry, clear voice. The tape-loop effects don't fully envelop the vocal until "your mind, relax...". On the standard RM8 mix that was subsequently used, the processed vocal effect is present from the very first words. Tape loops: During the instrumental sections, especially the middle break, the famous tape loops (including the "seagull"-like sounds) are mixed differently. Some loops are louder, others enter earlier or later, making RM11 mix sound more chaotic and experimental.
Vocal balance: Lennon's vocal sits slightly higher in the mix, making it easier to hear over the effects. RM11 fades a little later, revealing a few extra seconds of the piano and tape-loop collage before disappearing.
