I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers. I will only post completely insured and tracked.

The Beatles' REVOLVER was an undeniable masterpiece. Building on the increasingly experimental bent that they had explored in both the songs and the arrangements of Rubber Soul, this really was The Beatles redefining themselves, this was the year that the only released one album rather than every previous year them releasing two, this was the year where they were considering splitting up and persuing other projects such as John Lennon's filming "How I Won The War", and Paul McCartney's scoring the music to "The Family Way", and importantly them deciding that this was the last year they were going to tour as a live band. This had profound influece on their musical output on record. All of a sudden it meant that they weren't constrained by what was feasable for them to perfrom live, and they could delve deeply into the prospects of affected sounds that could only be created in the studio, such as tape loops, and backwards recordings. This is keenly felt throughout this whole album, but comes to a climax in the final track "Tomorrow Never Knows", in which tape loops were "live mixed" to the tracks during the mixing. As they had never used tape loops like this before, there was nothing set up to make it easy, therefore they had huge loops of tape looped around all sorts of unlikely objects in the studio, to make a long enough loop, in some cases using pencils etc. And it meant that no two mixes would be the same, in fact the loops would be quite signifficantly different, depending on where in the loop they started etc.
The very first run of only the MONO copies of this album got pressed with "Remix 11" of this record, and almost instantly George Martin pulled the laquers, and repressed metal masters with "Remix 8", denoted by the matrix number being XEX-606-2, 3 or 4 etc. Only the XEX 606-1 and only the MONO records had this rare mix, no official reissues have ever been pressed with this mix again! Which makes this record extremely rare and sought after.
RECORD CONDITION: looks like a weak VG-,  or even a G+, but plays much better with just some errant pops an dd crackle etc, this record does have surface marks, and a few more signifficant ones, the main one being slightly feelable if you run your finger-nail across it, towards the end of "I Want To Tell You", luckily it is at right angles to the grooves, and not diagonally along them and therefore causes no jumping, but does produce some ticks, noticable in the quieter parts moreso. There are light static noises in other places on the record too. That said this plays through nicely, and whilst it's not a final upgrade, it's a perfect one to plug up this rather sought after gap in your collection. It plays nicely, and you get to hear a whole new (or even the "original") mix of  Tomorrow Never Knows! 
RECORD LABELS: VG Generally quite decent labels, with just a few light spindle marks around the central spindle holes on either side. And sadly the previous owner clearly didn't have an automatic pick-up on their player, as they seem to have let it run on for a little bit, and it's worn a small groove, about 3mm outside of the central circular embossed ridge of the label on each side. Other than that, no grafitti/stains/abbrasions. Very decent!
SLEEVE: VG+, Generally clean, and fairly crisp, with slight edge-wear at 6 o'clock, where the record has bashed from inside, though only very minor. Also a small amount of handling foxing along the side opening mouth edges,with one very small nick about 8mm long, about 1cm up from the bottom edge of the front sleeve. A small few discolourations on the front cover near the spine (small, but please observe photos for more information) The spine holds up really nicely and is fully legible, all of the corners are in decent condition, the non-laminated back sleeve is pretty uncommonly clean for one of these! This is a first pressing and the printer credits read "Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending" on the bottom flip-back tab. All flip-back tabs are quite crisp and fully stuck on!
