-THE BEATLES / REVOLVER orig 1966 LP MONO vinyl PMC 7009, XEX 605 / 606. Play tested for an accurate grading.
Key Features:
- Matrix: Side 1: XEX 605-2 ; Side 2: XEX 606-2.
- Labels: A little pen and sticker to side A, no spindle marks
- Sleeve: Ernest J Day front laminated cover.
- Tax Code: KT side 1
- Inner: Polythene-lined die-cut inner sleeve.
- Stampers - Side A 4-RLT Side B 4-RGH - Mothers Stamper "4" denotes Very early pressing I am led to believe
Visual Grade: VERY GOOD PLUS!
In good natural light the record exhibits a glossy and clean appearance with a few light non-sounding marks visible on both sides, these can clearly be seen in the photos, do not affect audio. See video
Audio Grade: EXCELLENT MINUS!
It sounds fantastic, great channel separation, crisp vocals and punchy bass from the famous deep-cut early Parlophone pressings. The record lead-ins are nice and quiet - always a good barometer for the play condition of a record - with no hiss or fuzz with little-to-no crackle audible. The playback continues in the same vein throughout with no issues to report that distract from the listening experience. Of course there are absolutely no skips or sticks with this grade. A superb listening experience and centre-piece to any collection.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD PLUS!
The laminate front retain its original glossy sheen with no sign of ring wear although a couple of creases although sleeve not mishapen. The matte card back is pretty good, shows very minimal light discolouration.
Inner Sleeve: VG+
