THE BEATLES RUBBER SOUL CAPITOL T-2442
COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-)
VINYL - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-)
CAPITOL RECORDS INNER SLEEVE - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-)
Insanely rare 1st DECCA contract pressing on the Capitol Records deep groove black labels with a very rare run-out "G" and "I" stick identifiers, corresponding to the Gloversville pressing plant. The cover is in fantastic condition only having some light wear at the top and bottom right corners. The original shrink wrap is fully intact with the original factory breathe holes. The back cover contains the RIAA "8" cover number, which allows to state that this copy was manufactured by Decca Records at the Gloversville pressing plant in the approximate period from 1965 to 1966. This is the very early collector's copy with the 1st print Capitol Records black rainbow deep groove labels without having the band name and subsidiary print. The vinyl barely has any marks or scuffs. Clear labels with a Decca Records' 1 inch pressing ring without having any marks or spindle wear. The album comes with the original Capitol Records "Capitol's New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo sounds better than stereo has ever sounded before" olive-green inner sleeve.
