This record is in very good condition. It has a lot of spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks or scuffs anywhere. The centres show some wear due to the heavy signs of use but are not excessively loose or overly worn. There is also some faint age spots showing on each side but these are faint and overall despite showing heavy signs of use the labels are all legible and still in decent shape. The have the KT tax code stamped on the centre of side 1.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing really deep or really nasty but there is clear signs of use and handling to each side. There is lots of light scuffing and wispy lines over both sides and also some other more noticeable marks and scratches. It still has a decent lustre however and when viewed in normal light does not too bad. There is marks on the record however and lots of light lines showing when angled or under bright light.
I play tested the record and it played tidily It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is far closer to a solid grade of 'EX'. There are no skips, sticks or annoying tics and generally only light traces of surface noise. There was some light surface noise in the run ins and some between some tracks but very little during actual play. Overall it plays pretty tidily with no annoying tics and despite showing heavy signs of use no serious distortion or loss of sound quality. It plays far better than the VG visual grade and was an enjoyable listen throughout.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners but remains strong with no splits or major areas of wear. The text along the spine is all legible and there is no heavy creasing to the laminate. There is a few small creases however and also faint ring marks showing. There is also a few small areas where the laminate is peeling. The rear has a pen mark in the top left corner area and also age related grubbiness. This is not really severe but the white areas are looking somewhat jaded. Overall a solid and tidy enough sleeve that has signs of its age and handling but also no really nasty issues. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original 'Use Emitex' lined inner which is in very good+ condition. This has a small 1cm tear to the top edge and some creasing but is generally still pretty tidy. I will of course include the original but will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
