THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL 1965 UK VINYL LP PMC 1267 -4/-4 Pressing Times Roman Labels
Coming from a large private collection and owned from new from a smoke/pet free house, this 1965 original repress remains in great condition.
With the rare Times Roman label fonts, 'The Gramaphone Co LTD.....' Rim Text, the Original Yellow and Black Parlaphone labels and the Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd original sleeve with the Matrix Runout Stamps of Side 1 XEX 579-4 and Side 2 XEX 580-4 as identifiers for the press. There are no KT or MT Tax Stamps to either label.
As with all my vinyl sales I use the industry recognised Record Collector Grading System to grade overall.
Vinyl Labels
Both A and B labels remain in Excellent condition with absolute minimal spindle wear. Clean and clear labels with no handwriting or stickers etc.
Vinyl 
Play tested on high end Technics Record Decks the vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus overall. Number of unintrusive hairlines across both sides. No skips throughout and great sound quality. Minimal background noise between tracks but with the exception of a couple of short repetitive pops in 'deadspots' before a couple of songs. However, overall a lovely copy.
Sleeve
Graded as Excellent. The front cover remains glossy with some laminate lift in areas and a small paper pull . All Flip Back seams are in tact and the label spine remains excellent. The rear cover has some discolouration in line with age (yellowing around the edges) but overall this is in great shape. Please see photos to assist descriptions.
Inner Liner
Graded as Very Good the original EMITEX Polyliner remains in place with no splits or tears. There is discolouration in terms of yellowing/browning in line with age. The Polyliner remains in tact within the liner. There is some staining to one side of the sleeve which I am unsure of the origin of, however all in all Very Good.
With all my vinyl sales the record will be removed from the Inner Liner and placed into a new PVC liner to avoid any in transit issues. The record and sleeve will then be placed into a further 12" PVC protector with all elements then placed in a Record Mailer for safe and secure transportation.
A great opportunity to purchase a piece of Beatles original history at a sensible start price. All defects have been taken into consideration when start pricing.
