Description
The Beatles Rubber Soul PMC 1267. Matrix numbers: XEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1.
Record/Sleeve:
This is the rare, withdrawn first pressing of The Beatles' classic Rubber Soul. The heavy slab of first pressing vinyl does have some light hairlines (which can you detect under strong light) and a couple of marks but really it's still in great shape. The record itself plays nicely and has fantastic punchy sound! Just a little crackle in places but the loud cut chops that right out! Grades VG+
The sleeve is great. There is a little browning to the back and a name, which is annoying because structurally it's super. Only light wear to corners and edges, plus the spine is mega clear with no real wear. The front on has no real laminate creases, just a couple of small ones in the middle and some faint Ines round the side. Still looks glossy and nice. Grades (because of browning and name) a strong VG+
