THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL
MONO PMC 1276
XEX 579 - 1 3 MO
XEX 580 - 1 1 MA
THE THICKSET VINYL HAS A LOVELY SHEEN AND WHEN VIEWED UNDER BRIGHT HALOGEN LIGHT YOU CAN SEE SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS AS WELL AS SLEEVE REMOVAL TRAILS AND OTHER HANDLING MARKS.I WOULD GRADE IT VISUALLY VERY GOOD.
THE AUDIO WAS GREAT.NO SKIPS, STICKS OR CLICKS.SLIGHTEST CRACKLE ON RUN INS BUT NO ANNOYING SURFACE NOISE.VERY PUNCHY MONO AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A LOUD CUT.THE AUDIO GRADES EXCELLENT.
THE LABELS ARE EXCELLENT WITH JUST SLIGHT SPINDLE TRAILS. THEY HAVE UNUSUALLY ROUGH TEXTURED CENTRE CIRCLES AS IF THEY WERE PRESSED ON A DIFFERENT MACHINE TO MOST COPIES I HAVE SEEN.
THE SLEEVE HAS SOME OPEN EDGE WEAR FROM HANDLING BUT THERE ARE NO TEARS,IT IS JUST CRACKING OF THE LAMINATE. THERE ARE NO SEAM SPLITS AND THE FLIPS ARE ALL SOLID.THE REAR HAS SOME AGE TONING BUT IS STILL NICE.GRADES VG/VG+
THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN IT'S ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE WHICH HAS SOME AGEING AND CREASING .GRADES VG+
HERE IS A GREAT CHANCE TO OWN A RARE WITHDRAWN LOUD CUT VERSION WITH GREAT AUDIO.
YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT WITH YOUR PURCHASE.I HAVE SENT VINYL ALL ROUND THE WORLD AND ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT FEEDBACK!
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
