Description
The Beatles "Rubber Soul" LP 1965 US Capitol Records stereo ST-2442. I purchased this record in 1965 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue. This is a first pressing with rainbow labels and a border around the cover. The ''New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo'' caption is in brown inside the picture and there is no ''File Under'' caption in the top border by the catalog number. The names of the 4 group members are on the label but not "The Beatles".
The jacket is graded in "EX" condition with mild ringwear on the front cover; there are no seam splits, cutout holes or shelf wear; my name and my catalog number are printed on the top left corner of the back cover (see photos).
The vinyl is graded in "VG+" condition with superficial paper scuffs and hairline scratches that are not audible; it has been stored in a poly lined paper sleeve since purchase; matrix numbers are A1/A1; my name is printed on the labels on both sides (see photos).
I am listing most of my Beatles album collection and will combine shipping for multiple purchases.
Vinyl grading is based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
