Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul LOUD CUT CROSSOVER 12" 1965 RARE original Parlophone LP vinyl 1st press' in overall VERY GOOD+ condition.
This particular first pressing is quite rare as side 1 features the famous 'LOUD CUT' mix. This is the more rarer crossover version as it features the loud cut mix on side 1. The more common crossover pressings have the loud cut mix on side 2.
In my eyes, the record is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS! The record lies extremely flat and plays extremely well - I would rate the audio for both sides as VERY GOOD+. There is some crackle throughout (more noticeable in the quieter parts, Michelle etc) and a few occasional pops but a deep clean would make this EXCELLENT+! The audio is loud, crisp and punchy, with original tonality.The labels are EXCELLENT featuring the Times New Roman font. The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition - looks great and houses the record very well!
The sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as Very Good+. A few slight creases here and there and VERY slight laminate peeling on the top right hand corner of the front. Have a look at the pictures and see for yourself! No writing or anything like that. Spine is very readable. Please note that there is a 2" split to the bottom of the sleeve but it doesn't look bad and doesn't cause the record to poke out or anything like. Please look at the pictures to see for yourself!!
