Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul' 1965 UK press MONO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the very first 'common' MONO pressing of Rubber Soul, released in 1965. By 'common', I mean that it is not the first Loud Cut pressings that were seen as poorly mixed...they still sound pretty good in my opinion! It features the larger Times New Roman font on both labels, comes with the original EMITEX inner sleeve and the original mono flipback sleeve! DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are some light scratches and hairlines. NONE OF THESE ARE FEELABLE OR DEEP! Looks like it's been enjoyed but looked after considering it is over 50 years old! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 but with a few more, light, non-feelable hairlines. Rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+.
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition! It has NO SPLITS, NO RIPS and NO TEARS! IT does have some creasing and light discolouration but overall, a great example of a rare and original inner sleeve from 1965!
Sleeve: The original 1965 MONO flipback sleeve is currently rated as GOOD+/VERY GOOD-! The front of the sleeve has creasing and ringwear with some edgewear. It also features a small tear to the bottom right hand corner - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES! Colour is still strong and looks great! The rear of the sleeve has some light creases towards the edges and corners. However, there is no graffiti, writing or pen marks and the flipbacks are held down tightly with some creasing. The sleeve isn't that all discoloured and still has a bright shine! The spine is 100% readable with a nice white finish with barely any creases or defects! Houses the record perfectly.
