Description
THE BEATLES “RUBBER SOUL, Stereo, PCS 3075
Record has been fully play tested on a Rega P8.
Ultrasonically cleaned on an Audio Desk Vinyl Cleaner Pro X.
I rate the LP VG+ and outer Jacket VG. If you hold the record just right in light, you can see some very faint scuffing, and there is some audible crackle between the tracks, This record plays amazingly well considering its age.
The original inner LP sleeve is missing - replaced with a Mobile Fidelity sleeve (pictured).
No tears or splits in outer sleeve
My LP ratings are based on the following criteria:
Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.
Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.
Excellent (E) – Same but with only very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.
Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.
Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but it is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
Good (G) - A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear orother defects will start to overwhelm the object.
