This pressing has the heavier duty Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated cover with first press solid “mono"   on the rear.
Front only laminated cover, with solid “mono” on rear top right. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print  Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With KT tax code on the label.  First press  Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 579-4. Side 2 XEX 580-4. 
This is the correct first pressing AFTER the "  loud cut"  was withdrawn!

The first “Loud Cut” copies were Sans-serif label font types. 
The distinguishing feature of the Sans-serif labels is that the * credit indicator on these labels are spaced away from the song titles AND the date code and matrix information is aligned. See photos.
The sleeve is in great condition. No heavy creases or writing on it. No tears. The spine is straight and true and fully legible. None of the edges shows any sign of wear and not even a corner bump. Beautiful vibrant colour with no fading.
The rear is wonderfully clean again with no writing, tears, creases or grubbiness. Use the zoom facility for a better view.
The vinyl plays as EX+.   No pops NO tics No clicks.  Beautifully quiet. Absolutely nothing serious like repeats or skips.

 Grading is as follows based on collector magazine UK MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover. V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc. FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
 Further information. All records are separated from the covers and    sent in a brand new polythene sleeve and packed in heavy duty cardboard.
