Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul' 1965 FIRST PRESS stereo UK vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD+ condition.
This particular pressing is the VERY RARE FIRST STEREO pressing from 1965. It features the larger Times New Roman font that features only on the first pressing of this particular album. ALso, it has low mother stampers! Difficult to find in great condition so DO NOT MISS OUT!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - it does have some whispy hairline marks. There is ONE lightly feelable mark across track 4 and 5 but it DOES NOT affect the audio! Looks like it was played and enjoyed but most importantly looked-after and it's holding up really well! Rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD. Side 2 - similar to Side 1 but with NO feelable marks or scratches! Rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD.
Audio: The audio is currently rated as VERY GOOD+!! I have play-tested this record in it's entirety from start to finish and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system! There is a bit of light background crackle and a few light pops but this could clean out. It is more noticeable in between tracks and on quieter passages (Michelle). Nothing too serious and it doesn't detract from the loud punchy, crisp stereo audio! I do advise a deep clean however because this was quite dusty. It has a lovely rich bass tone with crisp clear highs. The original stereo mix of Rubber Soul is amazing and it's a real treat for all us Beatle fans! Lies very flat and plays very well!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX PAPER inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD- condition! It is quite interesting as there is NO polythene on the inside of this sleeve. Usually, most EMITEX inner sleeves are poly-lined...could be a rare factory error! It does have a few splits in places and some rubbing and discolouration. It does house the record well and there are no splits along the bottom seam.
Sleeve: The original 1965 G&L STEREO flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine and the laminate is fully intact. There is some laminate creasing, very light ringwear and some light edgewear. There is also a small patch of rubbing along the bottom edge - literally less than 5cm. The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean, free from any writing or graffiti! There is some discolouration and light staining in places but everything is still readable and intact! The flipbacks are tight and intact with a few small creases and slightly dirty edges. The spine is 100% readable and clean with no splits and a few very small light creases. Overall, a decent sleeve that looks great and is holding up well - DO NOT MISS OUT!!
