ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st PRESSING – FAMOUS “LOUD CUT” -1/-1
Parlophone PMC 1267
A superb example of the highly collectable original UK mono pressing of Rubber Soul, featuring the famous XEX 579-1 / XEX 580-1 “Loud Cut” matrices on BOTH sides.
This is the genuine double-sided -1/-1 Loud Cut, rather than one of the later mono recuts.

VINYL: EX+
Superb deep glossy surfaces showing only the very lightest signs of careful use under close inspection. No significant scratches or marks. Both original Parlophone labels are exceptionally clean and present beautifully, with limited evidence of spindle use.
AUDIO: EX+
Fully play-tested from beginning to end on both sides.
Superb, clear, loud and deep playback throughout. A wonderful sounding copy which really demonstrates the powerful character for which the original -1/-1 cut is so highly regarded.
No skips, jumps, pops, ticks or intrusive crackle noted during playback. Exceptionally clean, powerful reproduction throughout.
OUTER SLEEVE: EX
Original Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front-laminated flipback sleeve, catalogue number PMC 1267.
A superb example presenting extremely well for its age, retaining excellent colour and gloss to the laminated front. Only very minor age-related wear, including the slightest corner/edge wear and very minor laminate creasing as shown in the photographs.
The rear remains extremely presentable with natural age toning. No writing, tears or significant damage. There is a short narrow yellow pencil mark across the words "Use NEW" within the printed Emitex advertisement, clearly shown in the photographs.
ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER: VG+
Original period “Use Emitex” poly-lined inner sleeve, complete and presentable with age-related toning, creasing and normal handling/storage wear, as clearly shown in the photographs.
