THE BEATLES        RUBBER SOUL parl 65 -4-4 LP EX/EX- PMC1267, -4 -4 matrix, stamper codes 11RGA & ?RDD.   Front laminated flipback G&L sleeve is very clean and ex condition, labels have a slight shamfer around the edge on side one, possibly a contract press,   labels are ex to ex+, vinyl is generally ex, has a surface scuff and a scratch on side one starting from middle of track 5 and all of track 6 which does give a few light clicks and another light scratch covering tracks 3 and 4, so although generally visually near ex it would have to be downgraded to vg, has had a pro clean and is housed inside a Japanese anti-static sleeve inside original sleeve. item 763           the record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable fitted with a goldring stylus , listened to through full range handmade wilmslow audio transmission line speakers that have superb response and definition on all frequencies

 For accurate grading  visual and play grade (like all my records)

this record has been professionally cleaned using an

okki nokki cleaning machine

 

( 1st clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and

finished off with L’art du son / purified water mix

 

the alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have from the manufacture stage , this hides detail in the sound

the l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness the alcohol water mix
