Description
This is a mint condition copy of the very rare DOUBLE record album by THE BEATLES entitled "Revolting" (not to be confused with "Revolver" despite the artwork and the title). This is a gray area release listed (according to the album jacket) as being from New Zealand. It has 51 tracks recorded during the Get Back / Let It Be sessions, almost all of them NOT the usual songs that appear on many GB/LIB sessions albums (inclu. "Rainy Day Women #12 and #35","Yakkity Yak","Great Balls of Fire","Blowing in the Wind" and future Beatles solo album songs "Jealous Guy","All Things Must Pass","Every Night" and more). The cover artwork (both front and back) is VERY ambitious and quite beautiful, esp. considering its "gray" provenance. It is on Rubber Soul Records. All in all, a very nice Beatles collectable.
Despite its rarity, this copy of the album is in beautiful condition. The cover still has its original gloss to it and is perfectly intact with no seamsplits or age discoloration (even against the white on the front cover). There is the TINIEST (I mean, tiniest) bit of wear in the top left corner of the back cover that is only notable because the rest of the cover is so nice. The LP's themselves (double LP) are shiny black with NO marks (it looks unplayed). I did play-check it and it plays a perfect mint. The audio quality is less-than-perfect as it is a gray area album but still very good.
