I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. The records I'm listing today are generally of lesser rarity, but are in really nice condition, I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! THE BEATLES Revolver 1st MONO XEX-606-1 Remix 11 mispress RARE!

Here we have one of the most audibly sought after Beatles records, by that I mean that the desirability of this record doesn't stem from a variation in the typeface or company which pressed it, but rather from the songs on it. This is a very 1st MONO (mis)pressing of REVOLVER from 1966 with a different version of Tomorrow Never Knows to close the album, this version Remix 11 hasn't been made available officially anywhere else. This is the only pressing of this album worldwide to feature this version of the song, either then or since, and was only run for very few copies, before it was corrected with the intended mix. Bruce Spizer tells it more succinctly than I could in his essential book "Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records", "When the monoalbumwas banded, Remix 11 was placed on the album's master tape. The first lacquer cut for the mono album,as well as the initial pressings of the mono album (identified by the matrix number XEX-606-1 in the trail off area of Side 2), have remix 11. After a relatively small number of mono albums were pressed with Remix 11,George Martin decided that remix 8 should have been used. A new lacquer was cut with Remix 8, and all future pressings of the album have this mix. (These redcords have XEX-606-2 in the trail off area Side 2.)... Both versions of the mono album went on sale simultaneously on August 5, 1966. Collectors pay apremium for the initial pressing having Remix 11 of Tomorrow Never Knows."

Apologies for such a lengthy quote, but I think it's a very valuable and well expressed paragraph! Here then collectors, for your delictation... is one of said rare initial Remix 11 copies!

Record Condition: Visually VG- does have plenty of surface marks/ hairlines, however they are all very light, mainly visible when angled across direct light, though a few a bit more visible. One is actually very faintly feelable when you carefully run your fingernail across it, but the audio is still very strong. Admittedly this copy is no museum piece visually, but it plays very nicely and contains that all important rare Remix 11 of Tomorrow Never Knows that you won't find on any other copies!

Label Conditions: VG+ Very strong,labels completely free of grafitti or tears etc. It has a few very light spindle marks, very slight print whitening around the central spindle holes, and on the embossed central KT tax code on side 1, and on side 2 there is the faint sign of old sellotape adhesive discolouration where presumably some name has been stuck. It has gone and is now very faint, but visible across the Parlophone "£" sign if angled into the light. Other than that very nice clear, clean labels on this legendary disc!
