This is the rare UK alternative 'Tomorrow Never Knows' press of 'Revolver' by The Beatles. This original press has the rare Side 2 XEX 606-1 matrix, 'The Gramophone Company' and 'Sold In UK' label text. It is complete with the original inner sleeve and the earliest Garrod & Lofthouse, Mono laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Good condition. It has a bright gloss with a number of marks on both sides. Most of these marks are light and as such when played the sound is still bold and clear. There is light background noise and there are a few clicks and pops, however the voices are sharp, the backing is vibrant and every track is clear.
The Yellow and Black Parlophone label is bold, the silver text is sharp and the yellow is bright. There is some spindle wear and a light name on Side 1. There is the KT Tax code on Side 2.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The white is extremely bright and the black is solid. There are a few small laminate creases. The back has only the slightest wear and the flipbacks are complete and sealed. The whole cover is very solid and the spine is firm with clear text on a bright background.
