Offered here is THE BEATLES "Revolver' UK Parlophone 1st Stereo Press 1966 PCS 7009, with the Black & Yellow Label. Plus, to prove 1st pressing, the record label on side two has the spelling of ‘Doctor Robert’, but on the Cover this track is spell as ‘ Dr.  Robert’. Revolver is the seventh studio album by English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 5 August 1966 by Parlophone Records in the United Kingdom and on 8 August 1966 by Capitol Records in the United States. The album was produced by George Martin and features many tracks with an electric guitar-rock sound that contrasts with their previous LP, the folk rock-inspired Rubber Soul (1965). In Britain, the 14 tracks from Revolver were released to radio stations throughout July 1966, "building anticipation for what would clearly be a radical new phase in the group's recording career". The album reached number one on the British chart on 13 August 1966 and charted for 34 weeks. It also reached number one on the American chart and stayed at the top spot for six weeks. The album was remastered 9 September 2009 for the first time since its 1987 digital compact disc release. It was ranked number 1 in the All-Time Top 1000 Albums and number 3 in the Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. In September 2013 after the British Phonographic Industry changed their sales award rules, the album was declared as having gone platinum.
The Original, and only owner, is a London UK to Hollywood CA transplant. HIS QUOTE: "I purchased my albums directly from a Record store, and none are second hand, or flea market finds. Plus, I used a feather light cartridge, so as to retain excellent condition and Sound quality." The condition of the vinyl with a visual inspection is Near Mint/Mint, or better. The cover sleeve is in Fine, retaining most of the front cover gloss. However, a number of creases are apparent. The reverse matte side, at 1st glance is Very Fine, or better. However, NOTE: there is a 1/2" rip in to cover at top right spine, photo #2, that does not show in picture. In our internet search, this seems to be the best condition example, and price of the LP offered for sale at the date of the listing. Shipping note: We remove album from sleeve, and place in a separate plastic sleeve, so the album cover is not dinged during shipping. Plus, we use standard LP mailing boxes, with extra interior cardboard slats to prevent movement or damage during shipment.   INTERNATIONAL WINNERS NOTE!
