Issue : French Export Press with the UK Stereo Sleeve
This is the French press of 'Revolver' by The Beatles on the Parlophone label. Only a small number of these 70’s French Parlophone presses exist, the french manufacturer was used during UK strikes. The vinyl was then shipped to the UK and sold with the standard UK Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. This press has the 2 box EMI label. It is complete with the original plain inner sleeve and Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has an exceptionally bright gloss with just a few very light wispy marks on both sides. The label is bold and bright with just very light spindle wear. The sound is bold and vibrant, there is some light noise but the voices are sharp and the backing is rich and clear.
The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The white is extremely bright and the black is solid. There is just very light edge wear. The whole cover is very firm and the spine has clear text on a bright background.
