THE BEATLES 'Revolver'

A super copy - Fully play graded - Clearly well cared for - 15 photos below

UK STEREO FIRST PRESS ON PARLOPHONE; BLACK & YELLOW LABELS
PCS 7009; 605-1 / 606-1 MATRIX
This is an excellent copy of the much rarer stereo first pressing of 'Revolver'. What makes this rarer still is that the side 2 label has the original uncorrected 'Dr. Robert' rather than 'Doctor Robert' credit which is much more common.
LABELS HAVE THE 'GRAMOPHONE CO' & 'SOLD IN THE UK...' TEXT
KT TAX CODE ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL
LOVELY FRONT LAMINATED GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK SLEEVE
*FULL RELEASE DETAILS CAN BE FOUND BELOW THE PHOTO GALLERY
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO EXCELLENT; this has been completely play graded from start to finish and both sides played through beautifully with a bright clear audio. A lovely crisp sound without a hint of distortion. Just very occasional crackle; minimal pops/clicks. Great audio throughout; a fantastic listen.
VINYL (VISUAL): VG/VERY GOOD(+); the vinyl retains a nice shine but does show some superficial scuffing and light hairlines. Nothing that had any affect on play though. Looks fine.
LABELS: Both look great; bright and clean with just some expected spindle marking. No tears, scuffs or writing.
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT; the sleeve is a lovely example. Bright and clean to the front with just a few small light laminate lines towards the spine and some light 'oxbow' laminate creases towards the opening edges. The rear is clean with just a hint of mild ring wear and some light, barely noticeable creases. The flipbacks are all completely undamaged and the spine is firm and straight with all text still clearly legible. Looks great.
*AFRICAN BUYERS PLEASE ASK FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE IN ADVANCE; DIFFERENT RATES APPLY. THANK YOU*

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
