THE BEATLES: Revolver
Very rare original 1st UK press of The Beatles - Revolver LP, issued in 1966 on the black/yellow Parlophone label. This is a very early rare mono copy.
Beatles: Revolver (Parlophone PMC 7009)
Matrix: XEX 605-2 and XEX606-1) (mother stampers: H2 and H2)
"Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists" printed on both lael sides, "K.T." tax/price code stamped on the label (side 1) center. Labels carry also "The Gramophone Co. Ltd...." text on the rim. "Dr. Robert" spelling on the side 2 label.
Grading (record/cover): EX to EX+/VG+ to EX-
Disc has been obviously played, has some hairlines/paper scuffs but no serious scratches at all. Plays strong EX, with only little background noise here and there, thanks to high quality vinyl! Both labels are EX+ to M-.
Front cover is in pretty nice shape as well, bar some little corner/edge wear and light ring-wear on back. A few light creases in the lamination but no delamination at all. Little bit dirty at backside and mini-pin hole. Otherwise EX! No seam split or other damage!
Excellent copy and bloody rare these days!!
