Description

Original 1965 1st edition Mono copy of The Beatles - Rubber Soul released on the yellow & black Parlophone label PMC 1267. 
Very lightly played & in super condition as seen in the photos. This is the second lacquer cut - the matrix numbers are; XEX 579-4 XEX 580-4
The record has been cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean and with a beautiful lustre. No real marks on Side 2, Side 1 has a couple of very faint scuffs, nothing remotely feelable, and nothing that troubles playback. The labels and spindle holes are clean which shows how little this has been played. The embossed KT tax code is visible either side of the spindle hole ( see photos). Graded EX.
Playback is vibrant, clear and detailed. It still sounds fresh and engaging all these years on! Needless to say, it plays through beautifully with no issues.
The flipback laminate sleeve is in beautiful condition, very smooth and shiny, one or two tiny faint creases, wear just beginning to the bottom corner but barely noticeable. No laminate peel, writing, splits, tears or ugly tape repairs. Some age related discolouration to the spine where tiny strips of laminate have flaked off ( see photo) but overall really really strong.
The original Emitex inner sleeve is present, slightly discoloured, but still doing a great job of preserving the record.
A superb copy for a collector, or to own, play and enjoy, fully cleaned & tested.
