Description

This is a 1965 first pressing of ‘Rubber Soul’ in mono. I’m sure you will know this pressing is the collectible “loud cut” with the -1/-1 matrix endings but it is perhaps not the best audio quality as later pressings refined the sound. The cover is printed by Ernest J. Day and Co.


Everything is in at least very good condition. The cover shows some aging and handling marks but is intact without any writing or sticker residue etc. The spine is clean and the title text is clear. The original Emitex sleeve is also intact with no splits. The record has been played and stored carefully over the years showing some spindle marks on the labels which are otherwise clean and fully legible. The vinyl is clean and glossy with just a few hairlines. I have not play tested the record.


I will package the record in a separate sleeve outside the cover and Emitex sleeve.
