THE BEATLES "Rubber Soul" Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) - Factory sealed and in mint condition
FOR THE DISCRIMINATING COLLECTOR THAT MUST HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING!
I have owned this album since I purchased it when you could still buy it in stores about 30 years ago. I selected the best copy out of about 5 or 6 that they had for sale. I should have bought them all! It has been in proper storage ever since. I hate to sell it, but I've decided to sell most of my extensive LP collection. You'll be seeing many more of my new and/or excellent condition albums being listed going forward. This is the very first one. If you are looking for anything else, I might just have it. This one has never been opened. The album cover has no visible damage that I can see through the plastic bag, not even a bumped corner. The factory applied protective loose plastic envelope of course has some minor wear, but less than I have seen on any other examples. However, the plastic is completely intact with no cuts, tears, or openings, not even on the perforated area. There are no significant scratches in the bag that would indicate any resulting marks on the album cover.
The lower left corner of the album cover that appears to have some very minor damage, actually came with that imperfection from the factory (see photo) where the corner is slightly cut. The size of the defect is only 1/16 of an inch and is barely noticeable. The photo greatly magnifies the defect. Even the slightest corner bump would be worse. I probably didn't even need to mention it. Otherwise the edges and corners appear to be as perfect as they could be.
I doubt that a finer example of this pressing exists anywhere. The original price sticker is still on the plastic bag. I have attached some photos of the corners. What you see is what you will get. Obviously I can't attest to or guarantee against any imperfections that I can't see, since it has never been opened. Let me know if you have any concerns and I'll take some additional photos for you.
