Sleeve: VG+
Easily grades VG+...This is a remarkable Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with nice laminate shine...some light laminate creases and a slight disc impression as to be expected, the most prominent crease being to the lower right hand corner. Nothing ghastly or major...fully legible spine and a beautifully clean rear with no unwanted marks or writing. SUPERB!!
Disc: VG+
Visually grades VG+ with light superficial hairlines and marks only, again nothing major or deep. Audio is clear and loud with only the expected crackles and occasional light pop here and there which would be benefited from a good professional cleaning no doubt. Quite a joy to listen to with no skips, jumps or stalls.
Labels: VG
Beautiful yellow and black Parlophone labels. Conservatively graded VG as it does have some puzzling “rubbing” to Side One which has faded a bit of the text to the left (see pics) and some signs of use including some spindle traces. A few odd spots but no unwanted writing. Overall, very nice!
Inner Sleeve: VG+
Original Emitex inner has some browning and wear but no seam splits.
Overall, a very wonderful copy of this rare, withdrawn and highly collectible “Loud Cut” Rubber Soul.
