This is the 2nd Mono press of ‘Rubber Soul' by The Beatles. The labels are Yellow & Black, with the ‘Gramophone Co Ltd’ and ’Sold In UK’ label text. It has the KT tax code on the Side 2 label. The record is complete with the laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Patents pending mono sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a high gloss and the grooves have their original jet black finish. There are a few marks and a couple that cause a few light clicks and occasional light noise but nothing singificant. It can still be enjoyed throughout. The sound is rich, bold and vibrant. The label is bright with solid black, bright yellow and a little spindle wear.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are bold, the laminate has a stunning bright mirrored shine and the picture is clear. There are a few laminate creases and a little opening edge wear. The back of the sleeve has a little discolouration but is still bright and clean and the flipbacks are sealed and complete. The spine is firm with clear black text on a clean white background.
