1967 1st Mono Pressing
Sleeve:
The first issue rare Patents Pending sleeve is in Very Good condition, completely intact at all seams and very clean. It is holding up well with a tiny amount of corner wear, minor wear to opening side, a couple of bubble spot. The spine is intact with title text present but tucked underneath the fold to the degree that it is only half visible - making this sleeve quite unusual. No rips, or repairs or writing etc. and retains its rigidity, and still opens with a ‘crack’ type sound. The pictorial of the Fab Four inside the gatefold is superb.
Cut-Out’s and Psychedelic Inner: These we’re kept inside the sleeve away from the record and are consequently in Excellent condition.
The Vinyl: In Good Plus Condition. The surfaces project a bright glossy jet black pressing sheen and the vinyl is very clean. No feel-able scratches but lots of non feel-able hairlines over the surfaces, but which are still in respectable condition. No warps, no needle drops, no feel-able scratches and no scuffs. The Labels: Good Plus Condition. Feint small spindle traces and minor spindle perimeter wear. One side has a little sticker residue.
Mothers/ Stampers: 2 AOT & 19 AGT
The Audio: Feint background crackle throughout. Still projects a very decent lucid detailed audio with deep original mono bass. Overall a Very Good audio, but not if you are looking for a perfect copy. There are no detractions that would spoil the listen, still sounds great, and a nice early copy. No pops, no jumps, no skips, no loud tics, no sticks.
