This is from my own collection, I am not a dealer, in the next few months I am selling off part of my collection, some rarities and collectable, no filler! Thanks for looking!
It was 50 years ago today ! Sgt Pepper the band it Play! Wow

The icon1967! riginal UK Beatles Sgt Peppers in glorious Mono from 1967 with no EMI box on label the early yellow black "Parlaphone UK" label which is only on first pressings......
"Made in Great Britain" is at 6 oclock on the label as it should be on at first press.
in our view the Mono version wins v the Stereo hands down as in 1967 stereo was still new and the engineers at Abbey Road were very very good at recording in Mono, the Beatles too! as amazing sound quality on this!
if like us you had a stereo copy for many years try this low cost original.
In near excellent condition with only some scuffs and surface lines from sleeve removal over the years also few hairlines which do not affect play, no jumps or sticks on our Rega 3 bear in mind this is a 50 year old vinyl record!
not a lot static and very quiet in the acoustic parts, Nice fat pre oil crisis 60s vinyl wow !nice and fat has a very slight warp at outer tracks but does not affect play in any way. we would the record grade as Near Ex.
Plays fantastic with bright crisp sound may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but not many of those!The sleeve is free of writing doodles or stickers and retain great bold colours with no fade we can notice under light., the pictures do not do justice! this is very very clean some wear on the spine only.

The Beatles - Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band - 12" Vinyl Mono LP, PMC7027 - 1967. Etched into the run out are the numbers XEX-637-1 (on side 1), and XEX-638-1 (on side 2) has removal scuffs and some surface hairlines which do affect play in any way.
Labels
There are hardly any spindle marks on labels , only some light surface marks and light hairlines on the actual record otherwise its excellent, very slight static in quiet places in keeping with a 50 year old, no skips or jumps on our Rega 3 or the "super fussy" light tracking Kenwood deck nothing to affect playback.
please look the pictures bear in mind this is not a £200 mint copy!....but it is Near Excellent.
So thick and fat vinyl..

There is some static crackle in quieter passages and intros ,

the "Parlaphone UK" labels are clean with no names or stickers on the black label see photo in listing. "Made in UK" at 6 o'clock as it should be on a first press, no EMI on the label.
The Sleeve nr excellent
The outer sleeve is amazing order has its high gloss finish and no rips tears or writing or stickers in great order for 49 years. the spine has harly any wear and is fully readable. truly a great sleeve for 49!
this copy has the very hard to find *cut out and play* card which is in great order see pictures....
the original colour inner sleeve has been replaced by a standard white inner long ago.
Excellent + Near Mint copies are almost impossible now sometimes over £200 in good order.
This is a great affordable upgrade!
