VINYL / AUDIO: NEAR MINT (NM)
An exceptional, virtually as-new example.
The vinyl retains a beautiful deep, mirror-like gloss and shows virtually no evidence of play or handling. An extraordinarily clean-looking original 1967 record.
Fully play-tested from beginning to end. Audio grades NEAR MINT throughout, with exceptionally clean, clear and powerful original mono reproduction.
Both sides play remarkably cleanly. The only detectable surface noise during the entire play-test is a little light crackle during the final fade-out of “A Day in the Life.” This is very minor and does not detract from the listening experience.
No skips, jumps or repetitive clicks.
Visual grade: NM
Audio grade: NM
LABELS: NEAR MINT (NM)
Beautiful original yellow/black Parlophone labels with strong colour and crisp printing. Exceptionally clean and well preserved, with the original pressing characteristics clearly visible.
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: EXCELLENT (EX)
Superb original Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold retaining exceptional colour and laminate gloss. The front, rear and gatefold interior present beautifully. The spine has some age-related discolouration and a small area of fine stress/incipient cracking. There is also a very small, barely noticeable laminate imperfection toward the right side of the front cover, which is very difficult to see in normal viewing. Please see photographs. An exceptionally well-preserved original 1967 sleeve in overall Excellent condition.
ORIGINAL PSYCHEDELIC INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT (EX)
Complete with its original red/pink/white psychedelic inner sleeve, marked “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN / PATENTS APPLIED FOR.” An excellent surviving example with only minor evidence of age/handling.
