Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Beatles – related and Rolling Stones records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st German STEREO EXPORT pressing of The Beatles – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band on the Red / White / Gold Odeon label, cat. no. SMO 81 045. This copy still has the original Red and Pink inner sleeve and the green cut-out sheet. I believe this pressing was made for the Swiss market.
The record is in VG++ condition; there are some non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG++ condition; there is a very tiny sticker tear mark in the upper left corner on the front, the spine has three small bald spots in the black areas (the text is still fully legible) and there is a crinkle on the back, but this is a factory error. Besides the mentioned defects, there is nothing wrong with the cover, no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
The original cut-out sheet is still present and is in EX condition, there is only some very light handling wear in the corners.
The original German Red and Pink inner sleeve is in VG++ condition, there is a tiny bottom split of approx. 1 cm and there are some folds in the corner, but that’s all the handling and storage wear on this inner sleeve.
This is a very rare 1st German STEREO EXPORT pressing of the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper album. This record was made for the Swiss market in very limited quantities, as Switzerland is not a big country. Although not in Mint condition, this is a very rare pressing of Sgt. Pepper and is not offered for sale on regular basis. This is a real opportunity to complete your life-time Beatles record collection! A must have for all Beatles records collectors! Happy Bidding!

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
