Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper' 1967 FIRST PRESS MONO vinyl LP - extremely collectible in this condition!! 

This particular pressing features the FIRST MATRICES used on a mono copy of Sgt Pepper (-1  -1). This means it is a first pressing and features the flipback mono sleeve with the original INTACT green cutout insert. Has that wonderful 'solid black' vinyl look. By this, i mean that you can barely see the deadwax grooves in-between the songs. This was due to the fact that the songs ran so close together! DO NOT MISS OUT!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - quite a fair few hairline scratches - none of them are feelable!! They're just sleeve-removal trails so I highly doubt they will affect the audio. Currently rated as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT. Label is EXCELLENT.                       Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light, non-feelable marks!
Audio: I have play-tested the entire album and it is currently graded as EXCELLENT! I can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! 
Minimal crackle on the run-in, nice and quiet with no issues! As the audio starts, there is some background crackle but it's mainly just the warmth of the vinyl sound - nothing serious and never gets in the way! It's probably the bassist mono Sgt Pepper I've ever heard! Sad to see it go but I have way too many copies of Sgt Pepper! Incredible, punchy, rich bass tone with lovely crisp highs and lots of clarity. DO NOT MISS OUT!!


Insert: The original green cut-out card insert is in EXCELLENT condition! Free from damage, writing, rips or tears! 

Sleeve: The original 1969 mono flipback gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine with very light ringwear and some small spots of laminate creasing near the edges - nothing serious, still looks great! All edges are intact! The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with a wonderful gloss and shine! Some laminate creasing towards the spine and bottom edge but it's not serious and still looks really good! There is some light ringwear but again, nothing serious. The spine is clean with some creases and 100% readable text! The inner gatefold has a stunning shine and is very very clean! Creaks upon opening and has intact flipbacks with very little marks on them. Everything looks great and clean and the whole sleeve is free from writing!
