Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1967 FIRST PRESS extra dot mono original Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD- condition.
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - plenty of hairlines and light scratches - nothing deep! Rated as VERY GOOD-. A well-played copy. Label is VERY GOOD.
- Side 2 - a bit more wear than Side 1, has a feelable mark on a quarter of track 1 - doesn't cause ANY skips, just very light ticks!! Light but non-feelable scratches elsewhere. Rated as GOOD+/VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD.
Audio:
- Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! I have play-tested this all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system!! There is some background crackle throughout but the audio does mask it well! Considering how the vinyl looks, it plays surprisingly very well!! The bass is very punchy and original tonality can be heard at all times! The fantastic mono mix sounds great and again, it is very punchy! I believe this to be a well-played copy but it is holding up extremely well considering how it looks! Lies very flat and plays very well!!
I believe that the black die cut inner sleeve is an original inner sleeve from a 1968 White Album...don't know how this ended up in here but it only has a small 1" split to one side - housed very well!
Original unused cutout card is in EXCELLENT condition! No real problems here.
The original 1967 mono gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition! There is some writing on this sleeve. There is the very feint outline of the name 'Hilda' on the front top left of the sleeve. There is also some initials on the inner gatefold and 'J.M Robinson' top left rear gatefold - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES! The sleeve has the usual laminate creases and age-related wear but no splits and no major wear! The spine is 100% readable!

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic Beatles record that everyone should own!
