Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1967 FIRST PRESS extra dot mono original Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD- condition.
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - lots of light hairlines, one long feelable scratch that doesn't feel too deep. Rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
- Side 2 - lots of hairlines and two small but not deep feelable scratches. Rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
Audio:
- Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! I have play-tested this all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system!! Light background crackle is present but it's only light! Doesn't really ever get in the way but a deep clean would help! Very punchy, crisp and loud!! Such a fantastic mono mix with that great classic mid 60s sound! Bass is lovely and rich! Lies very flat and plays very well!
Original unused cutout card is in VERY GOOD condition! A few light creases and age-related wear but still intact!
The original 1967 mono gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition! Nice and clean with no graffiti or writing - just a feint name on front top right but it has worn off over the years (PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES). Light laminate creases to the front and back but very light, only near the edges really. Spine is readable but does have wear to 'Lonely Hearts' - not split though! Nice ad clean with light edgewear and some cornerwear.

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic Beatles record that everyone should own!
