Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 12" 1969 RARE original Parlophone stereo LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT condition.
This particular pressing is quite rare as the label doesn't feature the usual 'Sold in UK...' statement found on other pressings in the mid sixties. This is a slightly later pressing that was released in 1969. It is the final 1960's pressing that featured the Yellow and Black Parlophone label. Literally, pressed and released for a few months before switching to the 'One Box EMI' silver and black labels. THIS IS A FANTASTIC RARE ITEM!!
In my eyes, the record is in EXCELLENT condition! Barely any crackle - seriously, a stunning example of this record! A deep clean would easily make this EXCELLENT++! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS! The record lies flat and plays extremely well. There are a few pops early on on side 2 but it isn't overbearing and the fantastic sound masks it well. The audio is loud, crisp and punchy, with original tonality. The inner sleeve IS original! This particular pressing DIDN'T come with the 'Fool' red and white inner. Someone appears to have drawn some sort of battery wiring diagram on the inner sleeve...if this is a problem then I can supply a high quality black inner sleeve with Polythene on the inside, free of charge - let me know! Labels are EXCELLENT also!
The sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record extremely well. Rated as EXCELLENT- only because there is some slight corner rubbing. Laminate is intact and shines beautifully. Have a look at the pictures and see for yourself! No writing or anything bad like that. Spine is EXCELLENT. Please look at the pictures to see for yourself! The original cut out is in EXCELLENT+ condition!
