INNER IS VG+ No rips, tears or writing but mottling.
INSERT IS VG+
It plays really well - very loud and crisp.
It does have some crackle at the run ins and the occasional light click.
There are two noticeable surface scratches on Side 1, Track 1 but they don’t sound. There are, of course, plenty of sleeve removal scratches to the surface.
There are spindle tracks to the inside of the labels that wouldn’t photograph.
There is spotting to the sleeve and some loss of laminate to the bottom quarter of the spine.
It’s a well cared for example that isn’t vault quality but is a really nice player. The lovely glossy cover still crackles upon opening. It was my Father’s ‘go to’ copy. He loved the sound of this one.
He also recalls cleaning it in 1969 - but it hasn’t been cleaned since! So, it will surely benefit from a deep cleanse…

All my records are play tested, and any faults will be pointed out.
There WILL be light surface scratches, caused by their sleeves. These are unavoidable and, unless they sound, aren’t to be considered a fault.
I’m not a shop or business - I’m a record lover/addict. I simply buy and sell for fun and to fund my own collection.
All records will be sent in purpose-made, industry standard mailers with stiffeners to avoid damage.
If I do make a mistake in my description, which does occasionally happen, drop me a line and I’ll sort it out.
My feedback is a pretty good guide to my honesty and accuracy.

LPs that sell for £25 or more will only be sent via ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY. I will only charge you what it costs me.
I am very happy to post overseas but will only send records out of the UK by Royal Mail’s TRACKED and/or SIGNED service. It has become quite expensive but there’s not much I can do about that, sadly.
I tend to post two days after you’ve paid. I work full time and need that time to package your album and take it to my local post office.
GRADING
Very Good (VG)
A VG-rated vinyl has experienced a lot of use. It’s still useable, but it’ll carry a few distortions. A VG-rated record often carries light pops and clicks. It might have light visible scratches, and it may have split edges. You can enjoy listening to a VG-rated record, and you can use it as an artistic display, too. For the most part, a VG-rated record is undamaged. Upon closer inspection, however, its use will be apparent—both visually and audibly.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
A VG+ record has little in the way of faults. It doesn’t, however, have compromised audio or visuals. A VG+ record may have several inaudible marks and a little rub. Its audio may have slight background crackle. If you’ve come across a VG+ record, you’ve found a solid investment.
Excellent (E)
An Excellent record is similar to a VG+ record. Its light marks will be difficult to spot, however, as will be its audio distortions. A lot of E-rated records have been in and out of their sleeve only a few times. Their minute signs of use, generally, reflect high-quality care.
Near Mint (NM)
A Near Mint record is a fantastic investment. It looks glossy, and it’s clearly only been played several times. NM vinyl has little to no markings, and its package is either untouched or nearly untouched. Don’t expect to find any distortions on a NM record. In essence: A NM record is imperfect only in its one-or-two-time use.
Mint (M)
A Mint record is perfect. It’s never been played, and it might’ve never been removed from its package. It’s fully sealed, and it has no blemishes or audio distortions.
I DON’T CLEAN THE RECORDS PRIOR TO
SHIPPING AS EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN PREFERENCES IN THIS REGARD.
