This rare 1st press record is in very good condition. It does have a number of spindle marks on the labels(pics), but no pen marks or any other damage. The vinyl itself is has a lot of light hairlines on both sides. It also has a scuff/mark on both sides(pics).
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat with no warp whatsoever and the sound is very good. On side 1 there is a tiny crackle on the run in to track 1 and then it plays excellent. Track 2,3 and 4 all play really well with no background noise. There are a few light pops in 5 and a really minor crackle in parts of 6. Track 7 is very good until the end where there is a small crackle. On side 2 there is very light crackle at the beginning but it then plays excellent. Track 2 has a very minor crackle but 3 and 4 play with no background noise at all. There is a tiny crackle in the middle of 5 and at the end of 6.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the play test and would rate it at ex- audio wise.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has a 2 inch split to the spine(pics), which is the main reason for lower grading. The other edges are all much better and there is no pen marks, tears or scuffs anywhere on the sleeve. Despite the split the spine is still very strong and the sleeve is also clean and bright.Unfortunately the insert and original inner are missing, so it will be sent in a replacement plain white inner.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent recorded delivery for my own and the buyers peace of mind.
