All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if purchased.
This record is in very good+ condition. It has some spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks, scuffs, stains or major issues. There is some light wear around the centres but nothing extreme and they are not loose. Overall the iconic yellow and black Parlophone labels are in good shape with all text legible(slight fading to parts of side 1) and no really major issues to report. They also have all text associated with the UK 1st pressing. I.e,"The Gramophone Co." in the radial text, "Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across label and "Made in Gt. Britain" at foot.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides show some signs of use and age but also have nothing nasty, deep or major. There is some light wispy lines on both sides and a few other slightly more noticeable, but light, lines. There is also some light scuffing in places and general signs of age/use/storage. Overall a vintage used lp that has no major or nasty marks, still has a nice lustre and is in good playable condition but not pristine visually.
I play tested the record and it played through well with no tics, skips or sticks and no major levels of surface noise. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement. The audio has no major or noticeable levels of distortion caused by excessive use and no major levels of interference as I say. There was some light surface noise in the run ins on each side and a little in the opening passage(5-10s seconds max) of the mellow sitar intro to side 2. Other than this there was also a touch between some songs and the odd trace in some of the audio. There was certainly nothing major or disruptive however and overall it was a nice tidy listen from start to finish that would easily match the VG+ visual grading.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has no major issues such as tears, scuffs or splits but does have some general signs of its age. It has some wear and discolouring to the spine, although this is still strong and all legible. There is also a few minor creases in the laminate to both sides and some light ring marks. There is also some minor scuffing along the top flipbacks inside the gatefold. All these issues are pretty minor however and overall it is a nice solid example. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes both its Psych red/white inner and cut out insert.
The inner is in excellent- condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but some creasing, fustiness and discolouring. The record will of course be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure it is clean and ready to play.
The cut insert is in excellent condition with no tears or pen marks and just light signs of age.
