The Beatles ?– Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

This record is in very good condition. It has quite a lot of spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. There is some wear around the centre holes however but these are not overly loose or excessively worn. Overall the labels are in good tidy shape with all text legible but with the spindle marks and some wear to the centres as mentioned.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or nasty but there are minor thin lines, some sleeve scuffs and some light marks/scratches showing. There is nothing that can be felt but there is signs of use and age to each side. These light lines and marks are clearly visible under bright light with also some more minor wispy lines. So overall a used vintage that is free from anything deep or really nasty, still has a lovely lustre but has signs of use and some light lines/marks present as mentioned.

I play tested the record and it plays very well. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio produced is very enjoyable throughout and has no major issues of any sort. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and also only very occasional trace amounts of surface noise or interference. There was a touch of surface noise in the run in/out on each side and sometimes between tracks but the actual audio was very clear and sounds much better than the visual grading of VG. Overall it was a really enjoyable play test with excellent audio throughout which in my opinion was closer to a grade of EX rather than the visual grade of VG.

The laminated gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear to the edges and corners with the spine also being very grubby and the text along it no longer legible. There are no splits on the spine however but there is a 3" tear or split on the front section top edge from the top right corner. Other than this and the grubby/worn spine there is no really serious issues. There is some light creasing in the laminate and also mild ring marks but nothing extreme. There are no pen marks anywhere but there is a small scuff on the front in the top right corner area. Inside the gatefold is clean and bright with no serious issues and overall the sleeve as a whole still looks tidy enough. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.

It includes its original red and white 'psych; inner which is in very good+ condition with no splits, tears or pen marks. There is some light creasing, mild discolouring and a small scuff on one side however. The record will be sent with a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure no further wear occurs to the original.

It does not include its cut out insert unfortunately as this has gone missing at some point.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
