Sgt Pepper Misprint double rarity.
The track 'A Day In The Life' is not on the side 2 label, which is what makes this copy very scarce - only a few hundred copies were released with this omission. Clouded in conspiracy theories since, one such as the BBC ordering the omission be made due to the supposed references to recreational drug use during the period in some parts of society. The truth being that a type-set on one printing plate at one EMI factory had the omission in error. The error was identified when the first issues hit the stores and the fault quickly rectified. This makes this the biggest rarity and most sought after copy Of All Beatles LP Misprints, and comes up for sale hardly ever!
What makes this copy doubly rare is that the Side 1 label has an extra dot in 'SOLD IN .U.K.'
Although this error comes up from time to time it is very rare to find it on a No Day In The Life misprint.
Sleeve: The laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition with a reasonable amount of age related storage wear/ light creases on the front cover. Pictorials clear and bright and the spine is fully intact and readable.
Excellent condition bright glossy clean iconic photo inside and still opens with a 'crack'.
There are no tears or marks, pen writing or handwriting impressions, and the sleeve is clean.
The fold-over flaps are clean, sturdy, and intact.
The dark green cut-outs card is Very Good. It does have light creasing.
Inner Sleeve: Comes with the original red and white EMI Patents Applied For advertising inner in Excellent Condition, no splits.
The Vinyl Disc: Good+
Generally smooth and glossy but the surfaces have several hairline scratches. A few are quite long but most of them are small and faint and only visible under bright light, and there are none deep or feelable. There are no scuffs, dinks, or marks.
In light of this I have graded as a strong Good as it does exhibit signs of frequent use.
Medium weight 146 gram vinyl.
KT tax code embossed on label.
SOLD IN U.K. text across label and THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD text around rim.
The labels are Very Good, all text is clear and bright and both sides have only feint spindle line traces, and moderate wear around the spindle hole perimeter area.
Side 1 at 3 o'clock is a 2, and at 9 o'clock MAL
Side 2 at 3 o'clock is a 3 followed by a 0 underneath it, and at 9 o'clock MMH
The Audio:
Side 1 is Graded as a strong Good (plays with one skip and several ticks)
Side 2 is Strictly Graded as Very Good (it plays with several lighter ticks/ static and a couple of pops)
Side 1:
Track 1: A few audible ticks at the start, and a tiny skip 3 quarters of the way through on
"to be here, it's" otherwise Excellent.
Track 2: A few audible ticks at the start for a few seconds, otherwise Very Good
Track 3: A few very light static ticks at intro and fade-out for a few seconds, otherwise Excellent.
Track 4: Plays Excellent
Track 5: Audible ticks for first minute, otherwise Very Good
Track 6: 2 pops after first 30 seconds, otherwise Very Good with a little static towards ends.
Track 7: Plays excellent
Side 2:
Track 1: Plays Excellent
Track 2: Audible ticks for 5 seconds at start, otherwise Excellent
Track 3: Background static at intro, otherwise Excellent
Track 4: 2 Pops, otherwise Excellent
Track 5 : Excellent
Track 6: 2 ticks at the start, and a little static towards the end.

The LP will be delivered in a quality double-part cardboard LP mailer with stifferners.
The record placed separately in a plain generic inner to prevent wear to the original.
Also comes housed in a PVC record protector.
Item will be marked as fragile and sent recorded delivery.
