THE BEATLES ‘SGT PEPPERS’ 1969 RARE GERMAN PRESS + INSERTS G+ VG LEGENDARY ALBUM.
I have recently had a wonderful opportunity to upgrade my collection by buying part of an outstanding collection. As a result I will selling some 20 of my own albums which I now have as ‘doubles’. There are some extremely sought after ones so do put me down as a Saved Seller.
This one is a 1969 German pressing of Sgt Peppers on the Odeon label. It has the seven inserts but they’ve been cut out of the original card.
The gatefold has retained its shape and colours really, really well and the photo of the four Beatles inside is stunning.
Overall the sound is great although the vinyl has quite a few marks.
HOWEVER THERE IS ONE ISSUE THAT I HAVE TO BE VERY CLEAR ABOUT. ABOUT 30 SECONDS INTO SIDE 2 THE VINYL STICKS. ELSEWHERE ON BOTH SIDES IT’S A BIT CRACKLY BUT FINE.
Please read the above carefully. That issue aside it’s a fab album.
I clean all records that I auction with ‘Vinyl Clear ’ very carefully but they may benefit from a clean with a professional machine.
I use Record Collector gradings. Please ensure that you understand them before you bid.
I have long-standing very strong feedback so hopefully can be seen as a trustworthy seller. I pack carefully and dispatch the morning after the end of the auction.
I’m not seeking to make a killing on postage, so am happy to combine postage. I am happy to dispatch to Europe and Asia but would wish to use Recorded Delivery.
