Description
The Beatles Sgt Peppers 1st Press Mono(PMC 7027) Widespine.Matrix No's are XEX 637-1/XEX 638-1The Front of the Garrod and Lofthouse cover is rated at G,with some creases,ringwear a slight tear on the edge.The spine has tears on the laminate and the "e a r" of "Hearts" belonging to the title are missing,but the 7mm spine is not folded over and stands alone.The Flipover middle gatefold of the four is vg+ as is the Red Lyric back cover. also with card inserts VG+ and a "FOOLS" red and white Psyche inner sleeve.It has to be said that the inner has seen better days with a couple of tears and rips and spilts down all 3 sides,although these have previously repaired with a degree of care..in other words its been sellotaped! Inner also has Patents Applied For at bottom right.The Vynil is rated at EX with no scratches or marks and plays Brilliant.Both labels are EX and to Top it All,Side 2 Has the KT Tax Code!All in all,despite the wear,this is still a very rare piece of Beatles Memorabila and getting rarer as time goes by.I have been as honest a possible in my description,and,while not an expert,will try to answer any question you might have.
