PAST RECORDS Presents....
THE BEATLES - SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND
This Original U.K stereo pressing dating from 1967 on the Parlophone label: PCS 7027.
Both labels include "The Gramophone Co Ltd" rims and housed in a "Garrod and Lofthouse printed stereo cover.
Matrices: YEX. 637-1 & YEX. 638 - 2
Stamper codes: 2G/LK11 & 3 PA
CONDITION
Labels: Excellent
A fine looking pair bearing minimal spindle marks (please see photo's).
Visual: Very Good
Overall the record has retained its glossy sheen but there are some minor marks and a noticable scratch mark on side two (please see photo's).
Audio: Very Good
The aforementioned scratch does not spoil the enjoyment of this historic recording even though there is an audible click which affects the "A day in the life" track. Play test also revealed some light background noise, especially between tracks. There are no jumps or skips.
Cover: Very Good
The laminate has moderate handling, age, corner storage wear . There is no insert (please see photo's).
Inner sleeve has no rips or tears but much ageing and marks associated with regular handling.
