Description
This is an auction for The Beatles picture disc LP, Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This was released by Parlophone records in 1979 and has catalogue number PHO7027. The sleeve was made in the U.K by G&L and the vinyl was pressed in West Germany. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition: The sleeve has some lamination creasing mostly seen in the corners and on the rear, the remains of a sticker can probably be removed leaving no mark from the front and very light buffing can just be seen to the very corners. Spine & Edges Ex, no tears, bends, fine mouth and inner circle, complete and graded at a strict VG+.
The centre hole looks perfect and shows no signs of wear.
The vinyl looks new, I have looked at this under a very strong light and can only find a couple of very faint scratches, these can not be felt by my finger. The centre hole has no scratch marks or spindle trails indicating this has certainly not been overplayed. I gave this a test run and was surprised to find the sound quality was actually quite bad. Much of the surface noise heard is down to the quality of the recording and the fact it is a picture disc, saying that there are crackles that I would say are not down to the recording and are infact caused by some unknown fault with the vinyl. So looks wise I would put this at a comfortable near mint, sound quality is only VG, with much of that actually being down to the recording itself.
A fine novelty collectable that looks in very nice condition, but if your buying for sound quality then best avoid this picture disc.
