HEY I FOUND ANOTHER!! The BEATLES official 1995 USA Capitol/EMI Reissue of their NINTH UK / 11th US album: SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND. Originally from Summer 1967, all 13 songs, in STEREO!! And STILL SEALED!!! This one of course produced by George Martin. Fantastic!! Way Beyond compare!! As always!! The 33rpm vinyl equivalent to the US CDs of the Beatles UK albums, trying to keep the whole world in sync with the Beatles UK album catalog!! Perhaps the worlds most iconic cover on a record album!!! It is presumed Goldmine Mint as it is STILL SEALED, since purchase in 1995. Unplayed. Presumed near perfect!! (See photo 3 for sample image of alternate 1995 Beatles Capitol Purple label). See photo 4 for alternate Capitol Purple labels from the late 70s and 80s!! The UK albums were first remastered for 1987 reissue. And then remastered again in 1995 and 2017, I think. Classic hits here are: WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS, A DAY IN THE LIFE, LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS, and WHEN I’M SIXTY-FOUR. Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 55 years later. My personal favorite: SHE’S LEAVING HOME. The Beatles aimed at getting the LP to market following the huge success of Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane (which were going to be on the album, but early released as a single). Then came All you need is love and Baby you’re a rich man, reaching Number One that Summer, the Summer of Love!! And that summer continued the Beatles craziness with this CLASSIC album. This album hit the UK and US markets in June ‘67 and were soon Number One in both, and “mature” Beatlemania continued thru the end of the year. And all 13 songs were originals by Lennon-McCartney or Harrison. Quite an accomplishment, their 4th such album!! Again they all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding!! The cover sleeve is STILL SEALED in plastic wrap since its purchase in 1995, by me. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these “new” reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!! Read more on “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site. Trying to price it is guesswork. Very few are up for sale from 1995!! In fact I could find no other sealed copy with the black hype sticker in the upper right corner, out of eel. Over 100 SPLHCB albums for sale on eBay!! But I guess the market will tell me what these are worth! This one is very nice! You decide!! See images, actual sale item (except photo 3 for presumed label likeness). Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship together for $5 total. So browse for others. Price reduces weekly till sold!! Best to all! Beatle Lew.
