Description
THE BEATLES SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND VINYL LP 12”
Original 1st UK mono pressing
Complete with Cutout sheet and psychedelic inner sleeve
Matrix Runouts XEX 637-1. XEX 638-1
Please note, this is in no way a museum piece, so please read the description and look at the photographs before bidding. I have tried to be as accurate and honest with my description as I can be.
Visually the vinyl has surface marks, hairlines and some light scratches and dulling of the vinyl commensurate with it’s age.
The record has been cleaned using an ultrasonic record cleaner.
On my system (with a stereo cartridge) it plays well with some surface noise and clicks noticeable between tracks and in some quieter passages. There was one small skip on ‘A Little Help From My Friends’ It is definitely a listenable copy though.
The gatefold cover is quite worn with the spine having been repaired with sellotape along its entire length. Due to this repair it is impossible to say if it is the Narrow or Wide spine variant.
The inner Psychedelic sleeve has also been repaired along the bottom and has signs of age and wear.
The cutout sheet has faired better with some minor signs of wear.
Please study the photographs for a guide to the overall condition.
Please message me if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
