Here we have an outstanding example of the probably the most sought after and groundbreaking psychedelic album of all time 'SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND' in MONO from 1967 in OUTSTANDING CONDITION truly the best I have ever seen - you will struggle to find a better copy!!!!!.Catalogue number UK Parlophone PMC 7027 with first press matrix numbers Side one XEX 637-1 and Side 2 XEX 638-1 and mother stampers Side 1- 1RHP and Side 2 -7DAR. This is an authentic 1st press and comes 100% complete with all original inserts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The record description based on the grading system below (I grade conservatively in order to avoid dissapointment!!)
The Record: EXCELLENT!!! The record looks unbelieveable considering its age!!!! very few hairline scratches and plays brilliantly throughout which again is astonishing considering the records age!! With Yellow and Black Parlophone labels with 'sold in the UK' text and KT tax code on the side two label. the labels are both very strong and show limited spindle wear. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS RECORD HAS BEEN VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER!!!!!
The Sgt Pepper Sleeve: EXCELLENT!!! The Garrod and Lofthouse flipback sleeve is outstanding!!!!!, I can only see a slight (very slight amount) of corner rub to the top left hand corner but this is ridiculously minimal!!!! the cover is near impeccable iside and out with no noticeable rips stains or pen and is REMARKABLE FOR ITS AGE!!!
The Psych Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT!!! the psych sleev is in remarkable condition no rips or tears or pen very slight creasing and ring wear(again very slight) A GREAT EXAMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!
The Sgt Pepper Cut Out: EXCELLENT!!! completely unscathed UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
All in all an excellent example of one of the greatest albums of all time unbelievably rare in this condition and i grade conservatively!!! The record will be posted in a secure record mailer via royal mail 1st class special delivery within 3 days of a successfull payment. Accepted payment method paypal only please bear this in mind when bidding, this is a UK only sale so no international bidders please.
